Material Information

Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET/PETE)

PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate), also known as PETE, is a thermoplastic polymer resin of the polyester family. It is commonly used in thermoforming processes to create packaging containers, trays, and blister packs due to its clarity, strength, and ability to be molded into various shapes.

PET is widely used for packaging beverages (such as water bottles, soft drink bottles), food containers (salad containers, fruit trays), and personal care products (shampoo bottles, cosmetic jars). It is highly recyclable and is one of the most recycled plastics worldwide. PETE is marked with the resin identification code "1."

PET offers excellent transparency, making it suitable for showcasing products.
It provides good mechanical properties such as stiffness and impact resistance, ensuring durability during handling and transportation.
PET is lightweight, which reduces transportation costs and environmental impact.
It has good barrier properties against oxygen, carbon dioxide, and moisture, extending the shelf life of packaged goods.
PET is highly recyclable and can be reprocessed into new products such as fibers for clothing, carpets, and other packaging items, contributing to sustainability efforts.

Polypropene (PP)

Polypropylene (PP) is a thermoplastic polymer that is widely used in thermoforming processes due to its versatility, durability, and heat resistance. It can be formed into various shapes and structures, making it suitable for packaging, automotive components, consumer goods, and medical devices.

PP is extensively used in packaging applications such as food containers, caps and closures, disposable cups and plates, as well as in automotive parts, household goods, and medical devices. It is recyclable and marked with the resin identification code "5," making it viable for recycling into new products.

PP exhibits good resistance to heat, making it suitable for hot-fill applications and microwave-safe containers.
It has excellent toughness and impact resistance, providing durability in various environmental conditions.
PP is resistant to many chemicals, acids, and bases, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of products and substances.
PP is lightweight, which reduces shipping costs and fuel consumption during transportation.
PP is widely recycled and can be reprocessed into fibers, automotive parts, reusable containers, and other products, contributing to sustainability efforts.

Polystyrene (PS)

Polystyrene (PS) is a versatile thermoplastic polymer known for its rigidity, clarity, and ease of processing. It is commonly used in thermoforming processes to create disposable packaging, food containers, cups, and trays due to its affordability and lightweight nature.

PS is widely used in the foodservice industry for disposable containers, cups, and trays, as well as in packaging for electronics and consumer goods. It is recyclable, although its recycling rates vary by region and type (e.g., expanded polystyrene foam is less commonly recycled). PS is marked with the resin identification code "6."

PS is cost-effective to produce, making it suitable for disposable and single-use applications.
It offers good optical clarity, allowing products to be displayed attractively.
PS provides good insulation, maintaining the temperature of hot and cold beverages and foods.
PS is lightweight, reducing transportation costs and fuel consumption.

Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC)

Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) is a versatile thermoplastic polymer known for its durability, chemical resistance, and affordability. It is widely used in thermoforming processes to create a variety of products ranging from packaging to construction materials.

PVC finds extensive use in packaging (such as blister packs, clamshells), construction (pipes, fittings, siding), healthcare (IV bags, medical tubing), and automotive (interior panels, trim). PVC is recyclable, but its recycling process can be more challenging compared to other plastics due to the need to separate it from other materials and manage additives effectively. It is marked with the resin identification code "3."

PVC is highly durable and resistant to abrasion, weathering, and chemicals, making it suitable for various demanding applications.
It can be formulated with different additives to achieve specific properties such as flexibility, flame resistance, and UV stability.
PVC is cost-effective to produce and offers good value for its performance characteristics.

Our state-of-the-art clean room facility provides a controlled environment for producing high-quality electronics packaging and other precision components. 2014: Establishment and Registration

APLUS PACK INC. was incorporated and registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Philippine Economic Zone Authority, launching our commitment to providing customized thermoformed solutions.

2015: Inaugural Production Line and Certification

The first thermoforming production line machine and the first press machine were installed. We have achieved ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System and ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management System accreditation, demonstrating our commitment to quality and environmental responsibility.

2016: Expansion with Second Press Machine

We increased our manufacturing capacity by installing a second press machine, allowing us to better fulfill the changing needs of our customers.

2017: Strengthening Infrastructure

We increased our capacity by installing a second thermoforming production line machine and purchasing a delivery truck, increasing our commitment to efficient logistics and manufacturing.

3D Printer Installed (Technological Advancement)

2018: Technological Advancement

Introduced a 3D printer, adopting cutting-edge technology to improve our design and prototype skills, demonstrating our dedication to staying ahead of the curve.

2019: Facility Expansion and Equipment Enhancement

Our position as a leading provider of customized thermoformed solutions has been strengthened by the establishment of a second factory and the addition of a third press machine.

2020: Precision with CNC Machine Tooling Center

Implemented a CNC machine tooling center, a critical step toward precision production that ensures our products meet the highest quality requirements.

2021: Diversification and Specialized Equipment

We expanded our products by introducing a carton box and a Colgate plastic sampling machine, expanding our product line to better meet the needs of our customers.
